Well, I have found an appropriate finish for the fox hunt painting, so the headless hunter is no more… It is currently standing on one of my easels to dry and cure. As with many paintings, I am not sure yet that it is finished, yet, but it is in a stable state and I am waiting for it to dry completely, before touching it again.
I am now working on another piece, which, like this one, is a bit of a departure from straight forward portraits. I think it will be ready to show to you in another two weeks or so, if all goes well… Stay tuned for more!
