No sooner did I get back from a short trip to The Netherlands, than I dropped off two of my paintings to a show called ‘The Red Show’ in the Windjammer Inn in Port Stanley, the beach community at Lake Erie I love so much. This show has been happening for 12 years now, it has become a staple art event in my area.
I find that recently I have been really in love with bright colours. My art has taken a new route these past months, and red is definitely present in all its glory. So my two pieces fit just perfectly in this show. Below are two pictures my husband took of me. We went to the opening really early last night, so I could actually take some pictures. The show tends to draw thick crowds and then it is quite hard to get a good shot.
