Two more cats and three birds adopted…

November 5, 2024

‘Spooky’ and ‘Sun Lover’ were two other cats that were adopted during the art show this past Saturday. It makes me so happy to see people drawn to my art. These two paintings were based on our own feral cat nursery family of 2021. I almost felt bad letting them go, but I know they now live in a loving place 🙂 And just in case you had wanted one of these two paintings for yourself: contact me and we can arrange for a top quality art print at a size that suits you!

Three non-felines also flew the coop on Saturday. These mini bird paintings were a true joy to make. Nature inspired me! Two of them appeared in my own backyard, and the purple ‘psychedelic’ bird was based on a documentary about the impressive migrants that many small birds are. They fly right over the great lakes to find a warm place to winter and then right back up to the north to procreate. Wow. Just wow.

And finally I also said goodbye to one of my few landscapes. My Monet-inspired take on a lovely landscape in the South of France, where I hope to return to some day to do plein-air painting.
