These days I am working on a variety of paintings. I am starting to really like working big. And I was curious how a pet portrait would do at a larger scale. It is not based on any particular cat that I know personally, it was just a fun project. Life of an artist is not easy, because all works have to go through some serious scrutiny before they are deemed satisfactory. Something different I like it. I bought an oil of a Toucan in Panama, a full size with some of the beak left oft. It took me a while t get my head around this, thinking outside the box just takes mental adjustment and flexibility
