As part of my mentoring sessions, I decided to try my hand at a city scene. And I loved working on it! I titled it ‘211’. Can you guess why? Let me know in the comments!
I had such fun doing this painting, maybe just because it is not my usual subject. The main idea behind it was to see if I could render a realistic image of windows, with reflected light and some with lights inside. This work is part of a small series about the anonymity of city life, especially in buildings like these. Add to that a nice sunset sky and this is what you get!
