These days I am working on a variety of paintings. I am starting to really like working big. And I was curious how a pet portrait would do at a larger scale. It is not based on any particular cat that I know personally, it was just a fun project. Life of an artist is not easy, because all works have to go through some serious scrutiny before they are deemed satisfactory. Of course, there was only one, who could truly inspect and judge this particular painting: our own little Mitsy. These photographs show the final canvas on board and also give an impression of size….
