Which do you like better? A realistic rendering of a subject or an abstract one? Have a look at these two pictures and tell me which of the two peacocks resonates most with you.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

One is a large 24:24 inch mounted canvas of a peacock, with some irridescent paints. It was a study for a future even bigger piece. The other, by contrast, is a small panel (8:10 inch), created with pouring technique. It is not as abstract as the two I discussed in my previous post. It is… semi abstract, I guess. If you don’t see a peacock in it, that it totally fine too. I might still work on this in the future, when it is completely dry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
